Local Midlander Bob Iwamasa has put his memories and experiences to art in this intimate look at one of the hardest moments in American history, the Japanese Internment during World War II.
While this is NOT a comic book, it is an art book and by a local creator. Support local! If you have any additional questions, please let us know with a direct message or email!
About the Book

This 36-page book is about my memories as a small child interned with my mother in an United States Internment Camp located on an Indian Reservation, Poston, Arizona and what I learned as an adult about the internment of 120,000 persons of Japanese ancestry, 67% who were citizens of the United States.
